FlatIron - baked texture not aligning with model

Hi all,

I am just evaluating the FlatIron Plugin (great work btw).

As a noob, I am struggling to achieve the desired result from the final standard baked shell material produced. Image.

If I use 3ds max's Render to texture command the material looks aligned, if not a little dark.

Please, can someone embarrass me, and tell me what I'm doing wrong. Here is an image before FlatIron interaction and this will be my desired result. (with limitations taken into account for the demo version) Image

Can I add that I draughted the model in Autodesk Inventor and then imported it into 3ds Max and then baking the textures with flatiron.
